ABOUT

Bad Taste Pictures was formed in 2016 by Kris Carr, Sam Fowler and Charlie Pride. We are a group of passionate young filmmakers, who combine a knowledge of classic filmmaking techniques utilising 35mm & 16mm film as well as new digital technology, to bring something fresh to the industry.

KRIS CARR

Kris has been making films since the age of 11, in this time he has developed a passion for both screenwriting and directing. In 2016, he graduated Bournemouth University, with a first class degree in film production and cinematography.

Kris is the Co-Writer and Co-Director of Bad Taste Pictures up coming feature film EATEN ALIVE!

SAM FOWLER

Sam has always had an affinity for performance and storytelling, but it wasn’t until after Sixth Form that he decided to go down the route of filmmaking. Sam chose to undertake a Film Production and Cinematography degree at Bournemouth University, where he focused on writing and directing all varieties of film, from comedy to horror.

CHARLIE PRIDE

Charlie always wanted to be involved in Film or Television in one way or another, his early inspirations were that of Lucas and Spielberg, giving him a massive love for sci-fi!  Charlie eventually ended up at Bournemouth University, where he met Sam and Kris while on the Film Production and Cinematography course, and while Charlie did not excel in the 'Cinematography' part of the course, he found his calling in the 'Production' side.
